This year, singapore's 42nd birthday coincides with our school's 50th anniversary celebrations. Punggol Secondary is pround to be part of Singapore's success story.
Punggol Secondary School was founded as Singapore Girls' Vocational School in 1957. In 1976, the school was re-sited to Toa Payoh and renamed Pei Dao Secondary School. In 2001, it was relocated to the up and coming 21st century model township of Punggol. It was renamed Puggol Secondary School to record the school the honour of being the first school in Punggol New Town, but retained its Chinese name because of its strong emphasis on character development.
